For most all barcodes, you can simply put in the bar code numbers and it will be generated for you. For any other cards, you may upload a scanned image to the application through this Card Keeper website.

No more digging around for your keys, or for a shopper card in your wallet or purse. These don't get dirty or rub off.

Scanning Tips:

Tip 1) Do not use Card Keeper at flatbed scanners. Rarely they will work but often times they don’t.

Tip 2) Scan the barcode face-on! Do NOT scan at an angle. Otherwise, the laser will reflect off the screen and will not scan your barcode.

Tip 3) Turn your screen brightness down. Less bright light means less interference when scanning. We will try and auto-reduce your brightness in a future update when Palm opens up the capability. For now, keep it low - this also helps save your battery!

Tip 4) Keep your phone screen clean. Prior to scanning, remove all fingerprints and smudges.

Tip 5) Place the scanner 5 to 6 inches away from the screen. Any closer or further away and it’s unlikely the barcode will scan.

PLEASE note tips 2 and 5 are by far the MOST IMPORTANT!
Please use Alphabetic passwords when registering on the site - numeric passwords seem to cause upload problems.

Shopping List Tips!

You can have an unlimited number of shopping lists! Each list can have an unlimited number of items!
Use the add items button to add items. If it is something you buy often, click the "add to recurring" checkbox and you will be able to add it to your lists over and over by choosing it from the recurring items list below the add box. The taxable checkbox means that the app will automatically figure out the tax on the item when displaying the current totals you have on your list, and in your cart. The add item to cart lets the app know you have the item and it will be moved to the bottom of your list and the price will be added to your cart total. Please let us know if there is anything you would like added to the app - these are all requests we have recived and we are trying to make this app the best it can be!
